
Midfielder James Marcelin has been called to be part of Haiti’s 23-man roster for Copa América Centenario. He joins five other NASL players on the team. This is not Marcelin’s first time representing his country, as he has had over 20 appearances with the senior team and was a member of the 2007, 2008 and 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup squad. Marcelin has clocked a total of 1,378 minutes and netted four goals for Haiti.
“I’m excited to once again represent my home country on a national level. I look forward to playing in the tournament with Haiti and then returning to the RailHawks after it ends,” Marcelin said.
After a friendly against Colombia on Sunday, May 29, Haiti begins tournement play against Peru on Saturday June 4 at 7:30PM ET.
