The Carolina RailHawks have signed a record-setting number of partnerships during the offseason with local soccer clubs, leagues, and training facilities. So far this year, over 30 partnerships were renewed or signed, significantly improving numbers achieved in previous years.
Some of the partners include Capital Area Soccer League, Triangle Futbol Club, NC Alliance, Triangle United Soccer Association, Chatham Soccer League, Fuquay Varina Athletic Association, Carolina Soccer Club, and many more. Throughout the season, the RailHawks will announce other partners and showcasing the different events that the team will participate in.
As part of the partnerships, players, coaches, and fans, can obtain discounts on tickets as well as special opportunities for teams to participate during RailHawks matches. During the course of the season RailHawks players, coaches, and staff make visits to the youth partners for community appearances. The youth players get to learn new drills from the RailHawks and also get exposed to what it takes to make it to the professional level.
“The extended Triangle area has one of the strongest soccer communities in the country. Our partnerships represent the commitment our partners and our organization have to improving player development,” said RailHawks President Curt Johnson. ”We are fortunate to have 4 players on our team that played for CASL and Triangle FC. One of our goals is to be able to identify more local talent, develop them to play in our teams.”
