
The Capital Area RailHawks have resumed match play by opening earlier this month after their scheduled winter break. Currently, the U-17/18 team sits in second place in the East Conference, as they boast an impressive record of 13W-4T-1L. They picked up two wins, and one draw thus far in February. The team picked up two big wins with a 3-2 victory over Kendall SC, on February 1st, and another 3-2 result over Charlotte Soccer Academy, on February 9th. They look to continue their hot streak in two upcoming home games. They will host Chargers SC, and IMG Academy on back-to-back days, February 22nd at 12:00 p.m., and February 23rd at 10:00 a.m., at WakeMed Soccer Park.
The Capital Area RailHawks U-15/16 team also looks to continue their hot streak after rattling off two consecutive wins going 2W-1L thus far into February. The team lost their first game after the winter break 0-3 to co-division leader Kendall SC, but have since won 1-0 over co-division leader Weston FC on February 2nd, and 3-0 over Charlotte Soccer Academy on February 9th. The U-15/16 team currently sits in 8th place in the standings, but with two upcoming home games they have an opportunity to make a considerable jump up in the division rankings. They will host Chargers SC on February 22nd, at 2:30 p.m., and IMG Academy on February 23rd, at 12:30 p.m. at WakeMed Soccer Park.
The U-13/14 Capital Area RailHawks team is returning from an impressive showing at the recent Futsal Event in Concorde, N.C. The team split into two squads and had a combine record five wins, and three losses, at the event. They will be returning from their winter break as they open March 1st. They will be hosting the NC Fusion for this match, which is set to kick off at 3:00 p.m. at WakeMed Soccer Park.
